San Francisco Victorian

Drawing inspiration from the Scandinavian  tradition of craftsmanship, simplicity, and  functionalism,  this was a unique remodel of a 1900s San Francisco Victorian. The owner wanted to transform three separate rooms—kitchen, dining and sunroom—into an open space that would be more suited to his family’s lifestyle. We designed a clean, light-filled and casual open floor plan that cohesively blends the original Victorian details, vintage and new appliances and Danish-functional design. Key features include custom site-built cabinetry and concrete countertop with a cast-in-place sink, rustic redwood ceiling, custom dog door and a unique window system.
